Data loss is one of the worst things you will ever experience as a computer user or small business owner. Data backup can be difficult until it gets set up properly and even then no one remembers to do it on a regular basis. Those who think they are backing up regularly may later learn that they were not saving anything.

· Data Transfer $40.00 Must be purchased with computer setup or wireless network setup Transfer of up to 4.7GB (Equivalent 1 DVD/R) Verify data transfer success by opening files on new computer Transfer of legally owned data files only (no software applications)

· Data Backup $115.00 Can be purchased separate of any other service Includes installation of backup device and/or software (customer provided) Configuration of automated backup to external hard drive or network attached device Transfer of up to 9.4GB (Equivalent 1 DVD/R DL) Verify data backup success by opening files from backup media Backup of legally owned data files only (no software applications)

· Additional Data $10.00 / GB Charge applies to each full gigabyte above limits stated above Verify data transfer success by opening files from new location Transfer of legally owned data files only (no software applications)

· Failed Data Transfer/Backup Attempt $15.00 In the event data can not be accessed due to hardware failure or file corruption, a modest charge is applied for the effort.

The ability to open certain files is based upon having the appropriate software installed on the new computer. Installation of software is available upon request for an additional fee. A standard backup/transfer consists of the following folders (My Documents, Favorites, Contacts, E-Mail and Desktop). You must notify the technician of any other locations that need to be saved. Transfer is only possible from a functioning hard drive.
