Terms and Conditions

Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, money order or check. At this time we do not accept credit/debit cards.

An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the entire installation or repair process. If the tech arrives at the scheduled time and no adult is present, or if the adult leaves prior to the service being completed, the tech will leave and you will be subject to the stated service charges

Technical Service fees are nonrefundable once the service process has begun (any cancellations must be done at least 4 hours prior to actual service to avoid charges).

Any hardware devices, components, peripherals, software or cabling needed for the install must be supplied by the customer unless arrangements are made prior to the visit.

If network connectivity is desired for multiple devices, you must supply device (router, hub, modem or switch) with adequate number of ports to support the required number of devices.

ISP/Internet or home network connection must be activated and working properly prior to any related install.

Customer must provide adequate environment (power, space, etc.) for the scheduled service.

Customer is responsible for providing power cords and surge protectors.

Customer must have available all legally licensed software and media that may be required.

FBG Computer Services warrants its services for a period of 30 days from the service date. This includes issues with the configured installation set up by the tech. FBG Computer Services is not responsible for issues due to setting changes, new software upgrades, ISP connection issues, relocation, viruses/spyware issues or misuse after service is performed. Additional trips not covered by the warranty will be subject to charges.

FBG Computer Services warranty is only valid on virus, spyware, adware removal service if the hard drive is re-imaged to factory condition and the tech verifies proper protection against such threats is installed at time of call

Some PCs have existing conditions that may not allow them to be networked. Any repair or troubleshooting work to get the machine network ready will result in additional charges.

Network installation does not include installation of PC or notebook. Those services are available for an additional charge.

Standard service hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Additional charges may apply for rapid response services or service outside of standard installation hours.

FBG Computer Services sets it's service area to consist of the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area to include but not limited to the I-275 loop and surrounding areas. If a location is determined to be outside the standard Service Area, additional trip charges may apply.

A complete terms and conditions document will be supplied to you at the scheduled service call.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BACK UP ALL SOFTWARE AND DATA THAT IS STORED ON YOUR COMPUTER'S HARD DISK DRIVE(S) AND/OR ON ANY OTHER STORAGE DEVICES YOU MAY HAVE PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF THE TECHNICIAN TO YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. FBG COMPUTER SERVICES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE AT ANY TIME FOR ANY LOSS, ALTERATION OR CORRUPTION OF ANY SOFTWARE, DATA OR FILES.

LIMITATION OF REMEDY: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL KEY FBG COMPUTER SERVICES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EXPENSES COSTS, PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR EARNINGS, LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA, OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO, THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY FBG COMPUTER SOLUTIONS OR OUT OF THE INSTALLATION, DE-INSTALLATION, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, HARDWARE, PERIPHERALS, OR THE NETWORK RESULTING FROM THE SERVICES PROVIDED HEREUNDER.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: BY AGREEING TO HAVE SERVICE PERFORMED, YOU AFFIRMATIVELY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS FBG COMPUTER SERVICES FROM AND AGAINST ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGE THAT YOU OR THE OWNER OR LESSEE MAY SUFFER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF ANY DATA AND THE NON-FUNCTIONING OF ANY COMPONENT OR ELEMENT OF YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT OR PERIPHERALS RESULTING FROM FBG COMPUTER SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE WARRANTIES, DISCLAIMERS AND WAIVERS PARTICULAR SERVICE AND SHALL CONSTITUTE LIQUIDATED DAMAGES AND ARE A REASONABLE ESTIMATE OF DAMAGES TO YOU.
